Rima Paukste is a painter, decorator, and expert in history and etiquette. Born in 1971 in Vilnius, Lithuania, she has been living and working in Spain for over 14 years. Rima has always had a deep passion for art and etiquette, she authored a decor and etiquette book in her native country and has organized and directed hundreds of events. For more than a decade, Rima has been researching the role of women in the history and culture of old Europe. She brings her findings to life on canvas through her collection, "Woman in Patterns," where her paintings blend ornamental beauty, symbolism, and mystique with real historical, ethnographic, and mythological knowledge. By meticulously studying the archetype of women from different regions, she skillfully translates this knowledge into large-scale, original works. Rima is a member of the AVAM (Associated Visual Artists of Madrid) and a fellow artist at APLAMA (Asociación Artistas Plásticos de Málaga). She has exhibited her work in Madrid, Malaga, Seville, and Alicante.
